The staff were great and very friendly.
The room was dusty in some spots, which was disappointing. One of the dryers was broken, making laundry inconvenient. Additionally, the housekeeping was inconsistent, leading to confusion about drink replenishment.

Our hosts greeted us with warm smiles each morning, and the location made it easy to explore local eateries. Breakfast was unpretentious yet satisfying, perfect before a busy day!
However, our room felt crammed, making it tough to maneuver luggage. Plus, the elevator was often busy, making our arrival and departure slightly inconvenient.

Pleasant Stay with Room to Improve
My partner and I enjoyed a lovely 4-night stay. The staff were extremely friendly, making us feel welcome. The room was clean and had a nice window for fresh air. The complimentary evening drinks were a great surprise! Tip, consider bringing your own breakfast options if you prefer Western-style meals.

The location was perfect for exploring Tokyo with my two sons. We loved walking to nearby attractions, especially the evening market where we found delicious street food and neat little shops. The breakfast was also a hit! We appreciated the pillow bar too.
In my wife’s opinion, the bunk room was a bit crammed for our family. It would be great if there were larger family rooms available.

fantastic base for exploring ueno park and local attractions
The staff were really nice and greeted everyone with a big smile. The hotel is just a short walk from Ueno Park and the National Museum of Western Art, making it perfect for leisurely city strolls and landmark visits. What I liked best was that despite being basic compared to bigger hotels, the clean room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay as a solo traveler.

The staff were super helpful, especially when we had questions about local attractions! ! One evening, we even found a free alcohol bar in the lobby that turned out to be a great way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but for what you get, I'd say it was reasonable.

We booked a connecting room for our family, which gave us some much-appreciated extra space, and the kids loved the cozy bedding. The hotel also offered relaxing back massages that were a nice touch after a day out. Breakfast was quite basic, so be prepared for a limited selection, but it was enough to fuel our mornings! 😊

This was just an optimal selection for a brief pause in Tokyo with value for price. The room was small but comfortable. The free open bar in the evening was a nice surprise. Make sure to enjoy the local izakayas just a street away.
